Technology meets design for Kura at BETT
A giant iPhone provides an unmissable demo solution for home to school transport service Kura at the UK’s largest education technology show.

Kura is the UK’s leading home to school transport service, providing safe, reliable, environmentally-friendly school runs via a free secure app to over 1,000 schools. They wanted to showcase their service at the UK’s biggest education technology event.
Project Solution
Creating an inviting space with lots of opportunity for demos required Imagine Events’ unique mix of technological know-how and design experience.
We built a giant replica of an iPhone, complete with touchscreen to create an unmissable demo area for Kura’s app and services. For the stand itself, we gave sharp corners a soft and welcoming feel by applying our design expertise to create seamless graphics.
Project Result
Kura’s stand was an inviting space that felt bigger than it actually was. We trialled lots of different tech until we found the right solution to allow a demo of the app software on the giant iPhone. This proved to be a great focal point and drew visitors to the exhibition area which also provided plenty of room to showcase the technology.
