The challenge
Vaillant UK are part of the world-wide heating and hot water corporation Vaillant Group, which operates in over 20 countries around the world. It’s their third year at this huge industry event and they wanted to make their space the stand out at the show, in keeping with their market-leading position.

Imagine Events solution
Take a team of 30, including 15 constructors, 4 audio visual specialists, 2 dedicated graphics installers and 2 raised decking specialists. Give them a strict deadline of 24 hours and set them to work building a 160 sqm stand featuring two distinct brands. Organisation, planning and a huge team effort all come together behind the scenes of this intricate and eye-catching build.

Even putting the final piece, the Volkswagen van, in place was something of a logistical challenge as we had to manoeuvre it once everything else was in place. And all without the benefit of power steering.

The result
Organisation, planning and a huge team effort all come together behind the scenes of this intricate and eye-catching build. The head-turning VW van and huge LED video walls attracted plenty of attention while the impressive stand commanded attention reaching 4m up from the floor. Clever use of graphics and design elements ensured that the two different brands Vaillant and Glow Worm shared the same space but maintained their own distinct identities.

With just 24 hours to get everything installed and in place at this huge event, the grand finale of this 9-month project was assembling a significant showcase for Vaillant with time to spare. This was one of our best projects to date and we’re happy that the client is already talking about what we can do next year.
